Job Description
Overview - Respond to visitors' inquiries regarding the company and its products or services, guide them to the appropriate destinations, and handle incoming calls by sorting and answering them. Apply strong organizational and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with both employees and clients. Support the smooth and efficient operation of the office while serving as the welcoming representative and 'face' of the company.
Requirements- Matric/Grade 12
- 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant and/or receptionist
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English - Xhosa & Afrikaans is beneficial
- Operating the switch board to direct calls and take messages in a professional manner
- Manage entry points to the office in a friendly and safe manner
- Opening of new jobs (keeping the job register updated)
- Keeping the phone information documents up to date (phone contracts, etc.)
- General administration
- To perform any other functions requested by management
- Good interpersonal skills/relationship building
- A strong and proven ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
- Organizing, arranging and planning skills
