Overview

Datacentrix is looking for a Receiving Clerk. The candidate will be responsible for the receipting of Datacentrix stock at the Datacentrix Samrand Logistics warehouse, including but not limited to all department reporting and department system transacting. Adhering to processes & coordinating exception transactions with analysis & resolving of queries. Verifying the correctness of all stock and paperwork delivered by suppliers against Datacentrix Purchase Orders. Receipting stock into Sage and correct labeling of boxes. SHEQ compliance aligned to ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 & 45001:2017 standards. Participation in internal audits & self-assessments. Reporting of operational risks and SHEQ risks

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Matric
  • Certificate/Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics receiving and warehousing experience
  • Sage ERP System transactions (receipting, returns, etc.) and approval requirements, transaction analysis, investigations, reconciliations, and query resolution
Key Performance Areas
  • Ensuring department objectives are always met
  • Complete responsibility for all assigned tasks and reporting
  • Ensure zero variances resulting from receiving department activities and errors
  • Ensuring compliance to all Datacentrix policies & procedures
  • Participation in and assisting with all monthly stock takes and hazard counts as assigned by management, including the investigation and resolving of variances. Full participation in all month-end, interim financial year-end, and financial year-end increased operational requirements and working hours.
  • Assisting management with identifying Operational Risks for the Warehouse department and SHEQ Risks in the Warehouse environment
  • Ensuring safe and responsible use of any Datacentrix equipment at all times, ensuring SHEQ regulations are followed at all times.
  • Ensuring the safe storage and movement of stock at all times, preventing any damage to stock.
  • Managing own timekeeping, attendance and leave balances according to Logistics requirements and policy.
  • Correctly completing and submitting of weekly time sheets
  • Ensuring that own output at is equal to the department average of the operational performance statistics that are recorded for the applicable department functions at a minimum
