Job Title: Reach Truck Driver

Location: Atlantic Hills Cold Storage, Cape Farms Department: Warehouse / Logistics Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Reach Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a reach truck to move, locate, stack, and count stock within the warehouse. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck to load, offload, and move stock within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately according to picking slips.
• Ensure stock is stored correctly in allocated locations.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or damages.
• Maintain accurate stock control and assist with stock counts.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in the work area.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Reach Truck License / Certification.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
• Matric / Grade 12.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.

Physical Requirements

Preferred Requirements (Advantageous)

• Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience in FMCG, cold storage, or high-volume distribution environments.
