REACH TRUCK DRIVER (TEMPORARY) Temporary Assignment Warehouse/Production Floor Full Time Hours

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and licensed Reach Truck Drivers for temporary assignments within our manufacturing facility. This role is suited to individuals who operate equipment with precision and care, adhere strictly to safety protocols, and are able to hit the ground running in a fast paced production environment. Assignment duration will vary based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials and finished goods
  • Load and unload stock accurately and efficiently in designated areas
  • Conduct pre shift inspections of the reach truck and report any defects immediately
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements where required
  • Adhere to all warehouse traffic rules, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards
  • Work collaboratively with the production and warehouse teams to meet operational targets
  • Report any hazards, incidents, or near misses to the relevant supervisor
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate (or equivalent)
  • Valid reach truck licence is essential - applications without a valid licence will not be considered
  • Licence must be presented and verified prior to commencement of assignment
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands on reach truck operating experience
  • Immediately available to commence assignment
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Physically fit and alert, with strong spatial awareness
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
