A specialist construction consultancy is seeking a versatile and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join their collaborative team. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full quantity surveying lifecycle from Stage 1 (Inception) through to Final Account.
Perform accurate measurements, valuations, and cost control functions throughout the project duration.
Provide comprehensive financial oversight to ensure projects add measurable value and remain commercially viable.
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders through effective communication.
Uphold principles of fairness and transparency in all professional dealings and contract administrations.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and contribute to the broader business strategy.
RequirementsA Bachelor's degree with Honours in Quantity Surveying.
Current registered member of the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP).
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple project stages simultaneously.
Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and influence outcomes.
Required Software SkillsProficiency in industry standard Quantity Surveying software (WinQS and/or DimX).
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for financial modelling and reporting.
General proficiency in MS Office 365.
