The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of complex and multidiscipline engineering projects from design to implementation, ensuring on time completion at an appropriate cost and with the required level of quality.

What Will You Do?
  • Execute turnkey projects in the mining & industrial sectors by leading project teams including drawing office & engineering, application engineers, quality, supply chain, planner, contract specialist and document controller.
  • Managing full scope on high value turnkey projects.
  • Controlling finance by managing supplier commitments on projects while tracking and pursuing invoicing milestones to maintaining a favourable cash flow position.
  • Actively managing changes, variations and amendments.
  • Ensuring safety compliance on project sites as company's appointed 16.2.
  • Managing subcontractors and their activities to complete projects safely, on time and to specification.
  • Attending client and site project progress meetings and reporting progress on status and risks to management.
  • Managing contract and communicating with customers in line with conditions under which the contract is established.
  • Tracking and complete handover of supplier documentation, as built, manuals and data books on throughout the contract.
  • Closing projects on completion.
  • Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls.
Your Experience Should Be
  • BSc / BEng/ BTech Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Project Management Professional Certification will be advantage.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience managing large projects.
  • Understanding of project management processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC conditions of contract.
  • Process plant experience.
  • Customer facing experience and strong communication skills a must.
  • Experience in execution of ventilation & refrigeration mine cooling projects.
  • Experience in execution of HVAC projects.
  • Experience in managing the commissioning of ventilation & refrigeration mine cooling projects.
  • Understand the basic principles of Mine Ventilation, Compressors, Chillers, Evaporative Condensors and Heat exchangers.
  • Ability to read and understand complex P&ID's.
