Bombela Maintenance is looking to recruit 1 x Handover Project Manager.

The main purpose of this role is to manage all handover obligations for the Gautrain system. This role will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg.

YOUR ROLE
  • Manage the handover process in accordance with the relevant sections of the Concession Agreement
  • Assets must be catalogued, inventoried and reviewed for condition and presented in a document itemizing all assets
  • Prepare and update the Handover Plan and Handover Programmes and submit to Customer
  • Prepare and update the Handover Report and submit to Customer
  • Manage the interface with the internal teams, suppliers, customer and management
  • Manage handover process in accordance with Alstom process
  • Drive handover strategy in conjunction with Alstom and customer key stakeholders.
  • Lead handover to successful conclusion for Alstom and customer.
  • Assist BMC Project Manager with any project management activities assigned to you.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Minimum degree/Btech in engineering or in the science field.
  • Related technical experience and Project management qualification .
  • Continuously ensuring alignment with customer contractual requirements
  • Team management (capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of teams)
  • Good Knowledge of Project management processes
  • Good knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Conflict and crisis management
  • Ability to manage customer relationship
  • Complexity management skills
  • MS Office
  • Planning and forecasting
  • Tracking and monitoring
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
