Duties- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Educational Psychology.
- Participating in the development and assessment of teaching and learning opportunities.
- Researching and publishing in areas of specialisation.
- Supervision of postgraduate students.
- Identifying and applying for research funding.
- Participating in Social Impact projects and rendering appropriate services to Stellenbosch University (SU) and the teaching community.
- Performing academic and programme management functions.
- A relevant PhD in Educational Psychology/Education.
- An appropriate teaching qualification.
- A strong academic record, including international collaborations.
- NRF grading (Full Professor).
- Sound expertise and experience of interpretive research.
- Thorough knowledge of educational psychology; learning support, educational changes, policy and context.
- Relevant teaching and training experience at tertiary level.
- Computer literacy, with the ability to use various Microsoft programs (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, online teaching platforms).
- Commitment to further research and leadership.
- Attending and presenting papers at national and international conferences.
- Recent and relevant publications in accredited peer-reviewed journals.
- Registration as Educational Psychologist with the Health Professions Council South Africa (HPCSA).
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
