As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering projects across the built environment. You will oversee design, coordination, documentation, and construction supervision in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring outcomes that reflect the client's vision while meeting statutory requirements, dhk's design ethos, uncompromising quality standards, and financial objectives.

Beyond project delivery, this role extends into leadership: you will contribute actively to the management and strategic direction of dhk, helping to drive excellence, innovation, and the effective functioning of the practice.

Requirements
  • SACAP-registered Professional Architect.
  • Minimum 15 years' post-qualification experience in architectural practice.
  • Strong academic background with recognised architectural qualifications.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and delivering large, complex projects across sectors including mixed-use, commercial, residential, hospitality, civic and education.

Technical Skills

  • Expert proficiency in Revit and BIM Common Data Environment (CDE). Revit assessment required.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction documentation and detailing.
  • Strong understanding of collaboration and modelling techniques and Revit best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building systems, regulations, and construction methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in interpreting technical and commercial project feasibility.
