Position OverviewOur future production supervisor will have as main mission to supervise the activities of our client lines to ensure production downtime is kept to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities- Production planning and execution in line with scheduling demands of customer.
- Training of Assemblers.
- Supervision of Cell Leaders and handling of internal grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Monitoring and controlling of all cost, quality, output, safety, absenteeism, etc.
- Interface with temporary employment services provider.
- Top 5 scrap/IPPM analysis and implementation of action plans.
- Line restructuring with demand fluctuations from customer.
- Monitoring output on a daily basis
- Minimum Grade 12. Supervisory certification and/or studies towards a national diploma/degree would be advantageous.
- Supervisory experience of minimum 3 years in an automotive JIT seat assembly environment would be essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work overtime is essential.
- Computer skills would be advantageous.
