Job Title: Production Planners / Schedulers

Salary: Up to £26k pa depending on experience

This position has now been filled, but has been left on our website as we have other similar vacancies on an ongoing basis.

Our client, a highly successful operator in their sector, is looking to recruit two Production Planners / Schedulers, one in Bristol and the other in Manchester. Successful applicants will be responsible for the planning and smooth running of the production process, meeting both internal and external customer expectations and ensuring all jobs are managed within the agreed timescales, commercials and escalating failures internally.

Responsibilities
  • Work within an existing commercial / production team
  • Assist and run daily production meetings
  • Plan daily production schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Liaise with internal sales team for scheduling and planning
  • Liaise with internal departmental heads for maintaining schedule
  • Manage all internal customer expectations in relation to production
Qualifications
  • Experience in print or packaging
  • Experience in MIS / Electronic planning
  • Competent in all Microsoft packages
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Commercial exposure and experience
