PRODUCTION ASSISTANT - TABLE GRAPES - FM2302

Malmesbury Area - Western Cape: This role involves supporting the Production Manager with vineyard activities such as irrigation, fertilization, pruning, harvesting and pest control, as well as assisting with packing operations, logistics and reporting.

• Matric with relevant tertiary qualifications
• 3-4 years' experience in the cultivation of table grapes
• Basic knowledge of sound production practices
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Good administrative and communication skills
• Ability to work with people and lead teams
• Driver's license

• Planting of table grapes, irrigation scheduling, application of fertilizer, pest and plague control, pruning, harvesting, monitoring, all manipulations

• Management of pack lines, packing material, logistics, scales, reporting

• Labor planning and management, supervisor training, disciplinary process, recordkeeping, transport and accommodation planning, maintenance (equipment/ orchards/ general)
