We are seeking a highly experienced Product Owner with deepexpertise in Domestic Low Value Payments (DLV), Payment Channels, and PaymentIntegrations within the Banking or Financial Services sector. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of paymentand channel solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance,and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be able to articulate complexDomestic Payment processes, demonstrate practical experience in ProductOwnership, and provide real-world examples of achieving outcomes throughcross functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the Product Owner for Domestic Low Value Paymentsand Channel Services, driving the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritisation.
- Lead the design, implementation, and integration of paymentchannels, ensuring seamless operations across banking platforms.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Domestic Payments (DLV)processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams,and operations to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, user stories, and scenarioswalkthroughs to demonstrate product decisions and outcomes.
- Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and service levels forpayment and channel products.
- Ensure all product initiatives comply with regulatory,security, and risk management standards.
- Coach and mentor teams on product ownership principles andindustry practices.
- Extensive Product Owner experience within Banking and/orFinancial Services (not less than 5 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Domestic Low Value Payments (DLV),Payment Channels, and Payment Integrations.
- Proven ability to take stakeholders through scenarios andoutcomes achieved via product ownership.
- Strong understanding of Corporate Channels and how theyoperate in a financial services context.
- Solid experience in backlog management, prioritisation, andagile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, andleadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to solve complex businessproblems.
- Familiarity with banking systems, ERP, and paymentplatforms.
- Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, orrelated field.
- Agile / Scrum certification (CSPO, SAFe, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in multi-national banks orfinancial institutions.
