An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced professional with a strong background in the Freight Forwarding industry to join our dynamic team as a Procurement and Product Development Co ordinator.

Education
  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • FIATA Diploma or equivalent 3 year freight forwarding qualification
Knowledge and experience
  • 3+ years' experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Experience in freight forwarding pricing area (estimates, rates management, tender management) an advantage
  • Client orientation - Some customer interface experience preferable
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - minimum level = Intermediate (MS Excel)
  • Communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Situation analysis and problem solving
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Time management - must work well under pressure
  • Detail oriented - Accuracy and attention to details
  • Team player

  • Customer service orientation - able to handle a demanding customer environment.
  • Dynamic self starter that works independently and can handle pressure.
