Procurement and Product development Coordinator
Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced professional with a strong background in the Freight Forwarding industry to join our dynamic team as a Procurement and Product Development Co ordinator.
Education- Grade 12 Certificate
- FIATA Diploma or equivalent 3 year freight forwarding qualification
- 3+ years' experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry
- Experience in freight forwarding pricing area (estimates, rates management, tender management) an advantage
- Client orientation - Some customer interface experience preferable
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - minimum level = Intermediate (MS Excel)
- Communication skills (verbal & written)
- Situation analysis and problem solving
- Interpersonal skills
- Time management - must work well under pressure
- Detail oriented - Accuracy and attention to details
- Team player
- Customer service orientation - able to handle a demanding customer environment.
- Dynamic self starter that works independently and can handle pressure.
