An organisation in the motor finance sector is seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented contractor to lead and deliver a defined automation project over a 3-month period.
The purpose of the project is to replace the current manual contract handover process, where a Sales Administrator walks customers through agreements in person, with a fully automated digital process that uses video-based explanations and customer comprehension quizzes to ensure understanding and compliance.
This role will take full ownership of the project from concept to implementation, ensuring the new digital process is successfully designed, implemented, and adopted within the business.
Process Discovery & Mapping
Shadow and document the current contract handover process used by Sales Administrators.
Understand the structure, intent, and compliance requirements of the organisation's contracts.
Identify customer questions, friction points, and areas of misunderstanding in the current process.
Translate the live handover process into a clear, logical digital journey.
Content Design & Scripting
Break the contract into digestible, customer-friendly sections.
Write clear scripts explaining each contract section in plain language.
Ensure all explanations align with legal, compliance, and business requirements.
Design a logical learning flow for customers to follow before contract acceptance.
Video Production & Animation (Using AI Tools)
Design and produce short explainer videos using AI animation and video tools.
Ensure videos are professional, clear, and easy to understand.
Maintain a consistent tone that is informative, reassuring, and neutral.
Iterate content based on internal feedback where required.
Design short quizzes to test customer understanding after each section or module.
Ensure quiz questions meaningfully validate comprehension, not just completion.
Align quiz structure with compliance and risk-mitigation requirements.
Load videos into Odoo and configure the customer journey.
Build and deploy quizzes within Odoo.
Ensure correct triggers, progress tracking, and completion requirements.
Test the full customer flow from start to finish.
Testing, Rollout & Adoption
Test the automated process internally with staff.
Support internal teams during rollout and initial adoption.
Make final refinements based on real-world usage.
Deliver a fully functional, documented, and adopted solution.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in process mapping and automation
- Strong content structuring and instructional design skills
- Experience creating video-based learning content (AI tools acceptable and encouraged)
- Ability to write clear, customer-friendly scripts for complex information
- Working knowledge of Odoo (or ability to become proficient quickly)
- Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
- Ability to work independently and manage an end-to-end project
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
