A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Print Quality & Production Administrator for a full-time, permanent onsite role. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production efficiency by ensuring that printed materials meet the company's quality standards while maintaining accurate production administration and reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage job card processes, and effective coordination with operators and multiple departments to ensure smooth production operations
Print Quality Control:
Conduct Print QC checks to ensure all printed materials meet the required quality standards.
Perform roving quality inspections across production and warehouse areas to maintain consistent quality.
Identify quality issues and escalate concerns to the relevant supervisor or manager.
Production Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and report on daily production outputs and performance against the production plan.
Ensure operators and printing machines are aligned with the scheduled print plan.
Capture and record production data within the Print Department and other production areas as required
Job Card Administration:
Conduct job card checks for each machine, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Issue job cards for upcoming work and ensure operators have the necessary documentation and job details.
Oversee each job card from start to finish, including opening, monitoring progress, and closing the job card accurately and timeously.
Ensure the correct closure of print job assemblies within the inventory system
Operational & Warehouse Support:
Ensure operators are fully prepared with the required job cards, tools, materials, and job specifications before production begins.
Perform general warehouse reporting and assist with cross-departmental production administration.
Carry out general data capturing and administrative tasks across the Print, Production, and Assembly departments as required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
High level of accuracy in reporting and data capturing.
Ability to follow workflows, procedures, and instructions precisely.
Strong organisational and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with multiple departments.
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience in a Quality Control or Print Production environment is essential.
Experience working with production planning, job cards, or inventory systems will be advantageous.
Basic administrative and reporting experience within an operational or production environment.
