Principal Project Manager - Civil Engineering

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Principal Project Manager to join our team on a major civil engineering project. This is a crucial, full-time, on-site role that requires exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of complex infrastructure construction, particularly in the realm of bridges and highways.

• Construction

We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 20 years' experience in planning and managing the construction of significant civil engineering works. Of this, at least 8 years must have been at a senior Project Manager level.

The successful candidate will possess a good understanding of the major issues affecting bridge construction projects of this nature and an appreciation for their environmental impacts.

A Professional Engineer registered with either the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) or the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).

Alternatively, an equivalent internationally recognized professional registration and/or legally required qualification applicable to the candidate's country of origin.

Exceptional communication skills and full fluency in English are non-negotiable.

Proven ability to lead complex projects from planning through to completion.
