Our client, a boutique hospitality property in theFranschhoek Winelands, is looking for aPorter/Cleaning Assistantto support guest services and housekeeping operations. This role suits a dependable, service-driven individual who enjoys working in a guest-focused environment.

Description

The Porter/Cleaning Assistant supports smooth guest arrivals and departures by assisting with luggage, escorting guests to accommodation, and responding to guest requests such as extra linen or amenities. Creating a positive first impression through professionalism and friendliness is essential.

In addition to porter duties, you will assist the housekeeping team during busy periods with check-out cleans, stay-over services, deep cleans and preparation of units for arrivals. You will also support linen handling, stock movement and the upkeep of common and back-of-house areas.

The role requires flexibility, including shift work, weekends, public holidays and occasional after-hours assistance for late arrivals or operational requirements. All working hours are managed in line with hospitality labour legislation. Salary:R8,500 per month

This position is physically active and ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys teamwork and understands the importance of service standards in boutique hospitality.
