Job Description
To develop, manage, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring that construction activities are completed on time and aligned with project objectives.
Required Experience- 5-10 years planning experience
- Proven experience using Primavera P6
- Experience on infrastructure / roadworks / mining projects
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management
- Develop detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6
- Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Define activity sequencing, durations, and dependencies
- Perform critical path analysis (CPM)
- Update schedules based on site progress
- Track planned vs actual progress
- Identify delays and propose recovery plans
- Monitor milestones and key deliverables
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
- Develop look-ahead schedules (2-week / 4-week)
- Provide schedule forecasts and variance analysis
- Primavera P6
- Advanced Excel
- Understanding of construction sequencing
Not required but it is an added advantage.
