We are seeking a Personal Assistant, hybrid and 4 days per week, to provide direct support to the Director of a ministry-oriented NGO dedicated to supporting incarcerated mothers as they reintegrate into society, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and opportunity. This individual will ensure smooth day-to-day operations across administrative, project management, and financial functions. This role requires a highly organised, proactive individual with a passion for ministry and NGO work, committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable women.
Location: Noordhoek (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 1 day remote) Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday - Thursday)
Administrative Support
Manage scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination for the Director.
Maintain and update organisational documentation, records, and files.
Prepare reports and project updates as required.
Project Management
Assist in planning, monitoring, and coordinating NGO projects.
Track deliverables, timelines, and outcomes to ensure effective execution.
Support stakeholder engagement and communication.
Handle basic bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
Assist with expense tracking, budget monitoring, and reporting (also for the Director's personal affairs)
Operational Support
Ensure documentation is organised, accessible, and up to date.
Provide logistical support for events, workshops, and outreach initiatives.
Serve as a reliable point of contact for the Director and external partners.
Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of financial administration and bookkeeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a ministry-oriented environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital tools.
Must be accessible to the Noordhoek region for in-office work.
