Overview

A well-established corporate company is looking to appoint a professional and highly efficient Personal Assistant to the Directors. While the primary focus of this role is to provide comprehensive executive support to the Directors, the position will also involve performing certain reception duties as needed. The ideal candidate should be available immediately and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions, while also presenting a courteous and organised front-of-house presence. Must be fluent in both Afrikaans and English (verbal and written) with own reliable transport and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain directors' calendars and schedule appointments
  • Coordinate travel logistics, including flights, accommodation, VISA applications, and documentation
  • Handle confidential correspondence and documentation
  • Run daily personal errands for the directors as required
  • Provide professional reception support, including answering calls and welcoming guests
  • Draft correspondence such as emails and letters
Requirements
  • Relevant administrative or secretarial qualifications will be an advantage
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience in a similar personal assistant or executive support role
  • Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Own, reliable transport and valid driver's license
  • Well-organised, reliable, adaptable and detail-oriented
  • High level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity
