Permanent - Trailer Technician - Komatipoort - South Africa

  • Carry out services to trailers daily, as per the OEM specifications, in addition to running repairs that will come in from time to time.
  • Attend to breakdowns on the trailers when required.
  • Inspection of trailers before/after work is performed, also carry out quality checks daily (known as 15-minute checks)
  • Completion of job cards with correct information as per the job instruction issued.
  • Maintain a high level of technical serviceability of the trailer section by quality work and preventative maintenance in conjunction with the ISO standard.
  • Responsible for timely prioritization of all operational requests, recognizing technical deficiencies, and implementing effective solutions in conjunction with the workshop manager.

Inherent Requirements

Requirement:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in this specific field.
  • Must have welding experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own vehicle required to travel from home to work.
  • Must reside in the KOMATIPOORT area
  • Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
