People Officer

Location: Bellville,Western Cape,South AfricaAfrimat CM Western Cape(Pty) LTD, based in Tygervalley Bellville, has a vacancy for a: People Officer # Minimum Qualification / Experience Relevant tertiary qualification preferably a degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology Minimum of 3-5 years' working experience Valid drivers license and own transport Knowledge and experience with Employment Equity Ability to address employee relations professionally, consistently, fairly, and with empathy Must have knowledge of applicable Legislation relevant to HRM Experience with Social Labour Plans (SLP) advantageous Experience and Knowledge of HR information systems (Sage 300 and BEE123) advantageous Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness Must be willing to travel to various operations # Duties and responsibilities (not limited to): Provide an effective and efficient People generalist function Managing the recruitment and selection process in line with business needs Providing ongoing guidance and support to management and employees on employee relations matters Provide effective and efficient People Management advice and guidance to staff and management team Managing employee performance and individual training plans and processes Ensuring compliance with legislative reporting requirements related to Employment Equity and the Skills Development Act Responsible for the Learning and Development function Ensures confidentiality on employees' records and information on site in alignment with the applicable legal requirements Participating in specific People projects and initiatives # Please send the following documents to apply:Please upload the following documents in one file with the application form to the right.
