Introduction

Medipost Pharmacy is looking for a professional, disciplined and self-driven individual to join their dynamic HR Team in a capacity of a Payroll Administrator (YES Program). The successful individual will be placed in Pretoria (Gezina).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • FILING AND FILE LABELING
  • Filing all processing under the correct file label, split between earnings and deductions.
  • Labelling the Payroll Files once all filing is up to date
  • Payroll filing to be filed daily to ensure that all processing is placed on record.
  • Metro Filing Payroll files older than 5 years, annually
2.SCANNING
  • Assisting to scan all Payroll Processing for Checks daily.
  • Saving the scanned documents per employee code on the Payroll Drive for the Monthly Payroll checks.
3.COPIES
  • Making copies of all Payroll Processing which includes but are not limited to New Employee Files, Terminations, Compensation Adjustments and Addendums
  • Updating the Support office Document Payroll Book
  • Sharing the copies with Support for filing
4.MANUAL PROCESSING
  • Earnings or Deductions that cannot be processed through a batch import to be accurately processed manually such as but not limited to: AOD's, Traffic Fines, Bank Details, Parking, Union, Uniform.
  • Submitting the payroll processing to the Payroll Manager to check.
5.QA OF LEAVE RECONS
  • Quality Check of the Leave Recons done by the HRBPs for termination pay out or Leave Balance Enquiry
6. PREMIER HR MAINTENANCE
  • Linking new employees to Premier HR
  • Updating Internal Movements
  • Removing Terminations
7.ESS SUPPORT
  • Creating Workflow groups as needed.
  • Removing Terminations
  • Registration of employees on request
  • Resetting passwords on request
  • Unblocking ESS accounts on request
  • Assisting HRBP's with enquiries they cannot resolve
  • Approval of Personal and Family Changes on ESS
8. ECO TIME REPORT LEAVE REPORTS
  • Preparing the 2 weekly Eco-Time Report and sharing with the HRBP's to share with the reporting Line Managers.
  • Sharing the exclusion list of employee numbers that is no longer on the AEL, but reflects on the ECO-Time Report, to the relevant support team.
  • Preparing the monthly TNA report for QA & Training and assisting with the QA investigation meeting.
9. PAYROLL SUPPORT
  • Assisting the HRBP's and Employees with ESS queries.
  • Daily telephone and e-mail support on any Payroll related query.
10. PAYROLL CHECKS
  • Monthly parking reconciliation
11. MONTH END REPORTING
  • Sundries, Advance, Traffic Fines report to be shared with Finance
  • Access Card report to be shared with HR Manager
  • Union Report and EFT's to be shared with Finance.
  • Union Name lists and proof of payments to be shared with Unions
12. AD HOC DUTIES
  • Assisting when a Payroll Officer is on leave and there is an overflow of workload.
  • Any other Ad hoc Request from time to time.
Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification

Experience:

1- 2 Years work related experience in VIP Premier
