Payroll Administrator

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking, on behalf of our client, a qualified Payroll Administrator to join their team in Bellville.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer end-to-end monthly payroll for assigned portfolio, from input capture to payment.
  • Apply for SARS tax directives as needed.
  • Prepare monthly reports for HR, Finance, Payroll, and Line Managers.
  • Maintain accurate filing and data retention in compliance with BCEA and POPIA.
  • Complete UI19 forms for UIF submissions.
  • Export General Ledger files to Finance within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure timely processing of all 3rd party payments.
  • Submit funding requests to the Line Manager for net payments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with 3rd parties such as Funds and Medical Aid, including receiving invoices, capturing on SAGE, reporting, handling claims, terminations, and changes.
  • Prepare payments and reports for month-end processes for all 3rd parties (Medical Aid, Funds, Tax Offices, etc.).
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years completed payroll experience on an RSA-recognized payroll system.
  • Experience with SAGE 300 People.
  • Grade 12 certification.
  • Proficiency in G Suite products.
Focus Areas
  • End-to-end management of 3rd party interactions (Fund & Medical Aid relationships, invoices, reporting, claims, terminations, changes).
  • Preparation of month-end payments and reports for all 3rd parties.
