Overview

A well-established motor vehicle dealership has an opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Storeman with at least 2 years' experience as a storeman in an automotive environment to join their team in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-end automotive environment where quality, precision, and professionalism are key.

Responsibilities
  • Efficient management of the parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock control, and providing excellent service to workshop technicians and customers.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming parts and stock.
  • Picking and packing parts for workshop and customer orders.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control.
  • Ensuring the storeroom is well-organised, clean, and secure.
  • Assisting with stock takes and reporting discrepancies.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure efficient parts supply.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a storeman, warehouse, or stock control role.
  • Experience within automotive or motorcycle environments is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer literacy for stock management systems.
