Job Description

- Management of all warehouse receipts, including weighing, documentation, sampling and initial quality control.
- Oversight of the full drying process.
- Inventory control within each storage facility and related inter process flows.
- Optimisation of product flow between drying chambers, storage areas, sorting and further processing.
- Ensuring that safety standards and risk control measures are maintained at all times.
- Day to day management of warehouse staff, including effective shift planning.
- Reporting daily, weekly and monthly figures to senior management.
- Implementation and maintenance of SOPs for all warehouse processes.
- At least 5 years' experience in a warehouse, production or processing management role.
- Experience in operational production management within a processing plant or warehouse.
- A tertiary qualification in operations management or a related field.
- Experience in staff supervision and leadership.
- Experience in planning and reporting on various processing operations.
- Knowledge of the macadamia, nut or seed processing industry will be beneficial.
