We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows, compliance with company standards, and timely delivery of goods.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field - Advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Good understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric) - Essential
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field - Advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Good understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse and distribution activities (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch).
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory control teams.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Supervise, lead, and motivate warehouse staff and drivers.
  • Allocate tasks and manage shift schedules.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and provide feedback.
  • Assist in training and onboarding of new employees.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations in line with South African legislation.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of goods and equipment.
  • Maintain quality standards for handling, storage, and transportation.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of logistics activities.
  • Liaise with clients regarding deliveries and service issues.
  • Resolve operational challenges and elevate when necessary.
  • Ensure high service delivery standards are maintained.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Track KPIs such as delivery times, productivity, and error rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement and staff attendance.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
  • At least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
