To further build on our success, we are seeking a data-driven and passionate individual with a get-it-done attitude to help us transform the mobility industry in the region. Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Designing and executing Bolt South Africa's operational compliance programme, including SOPs, workflows, and driver compliance journeys aligned with evolving regulations.

Owning end-to-end driver and vehicle compliance execution, covering documentation collection, verification, renewals, audits, remediation, and enforcement processes.

Leading driver-facing education and support initiatives (workshops, roadshows, hub activations, and targeted interventions), including coordination with driver associations and fleet partners.

Supporting Public Policy and Legal in regulator and government engagements by preparing operational briefs, evidence packs, dashboards, and providing on-the-ground operational context.

About you:

5+ years of experience in operations execution, ideally involving regulatory compliance, field operations, or stakeholder-heavy delivery.

Experience building processes, workflows, or operational infrastructure from scratch (0 1).

Strong operational excellence skills, including planning, prioritisation, workflow design, and disciplined follow-through.

Data-fluent, with the ability to define metrics, work with spreadsheets and dashboards, and communicate insights clearly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory requirements for non-technical audiences.

Comfortable operating in high-stakes, sensitive environments with integrity and discretion.

Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and takes full ownership of outcomes.

Willing and able to travel frequently and spend significant time in the field; a valid driver's licence is required.
