About the role

We are a UK based financial services firm with client support operations in South Africa. We need people with high attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and who are tech savvy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our UK based firm.

As an Operations & Oversight Analyst, you will directly support our Investment Operations Team by providing core administration tasks that ensure excellent client outcomes. You'll quickly become a go to expert on our products, providers, and systems, supported every step of the way by our UK team to ensure accuracy and compliance. Accountabilities Reconciliations
  • Assist in the daily reconciliation of third party provider positions with internal systems.

  • Flag and escalate anomalies to the UK team for resolution.

  • Support pricing checks to ensure accurate asset valuations.

  • Collate daily firm account reconciliations.

Monitoring & Processing Updates
  • Monitor data feeds and system updates from service providers.

  • Process routine updates to client and asset records under supervision.

  • Maintain logs of updates and changes for audit and review purposes.

Management Information (MI) Support
  • Collate data for MI reporting across operational activities.

  • Assist in preparing summary reports for internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting templates.

Administrative Support
  • Maintain records of operational tasks and reconciliations.

  • Support the documentation of procedures and process changes.

  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the UK team.

Skills and Experience
  • Some experience in a financial services or administrative role preferred.

  • Tech savvy, with at least intermediate Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

  • Good communication skills. Comfortable with numbers, and highly organised.

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Basic understanding of investment operations is desirable, but not essential.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Advanced in Excel and other data tools.

  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with the UK team.

  • Fast learner who will suggest better ways of doing things.
