Job Description

A growing product distribution business based in Roodepoort, Gauteng is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee the end-to-end operational value chain, including supplier coordination, contract manufacturing, inventory planning, and warehouse logistics. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring efficient coordination between suppliers, manufacturing partners, sales administration, and distribution while maintaining strong service levels and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • 5-8 years' experience in operations, supply chain, or business management
  • Experience managing contract manufacturers and external suppliers
  • Background in FMCG, consumer goods, distribution, or product-based environments required
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo, Syspro, SAGE or similar)
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical ability
  • Proven leadership experience managing operational or warehouse teams
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations from procurement through to delivery
  • Coordinate suppliers, contract manufacturers, warehouse operations, and sales administration
  • Oversee inventory planning, replenishment cycles, and demand alignment
  • Monitor supplier performance, production schedules, and stock availability
  • Manage procurement of buy-out/white-label products
  • Ensure efficient order fulfilment, warehouse operations, and logistics processes
  • Control operational costs and support budgeting and planning
  • Lead and develop the operations and warehouse team
