We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support daily operational activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate understands site operations, compliance requirements, supplier coordination, and project documentation within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
This is a remote position with flexible working hours. In-office meetings in Centurion could be required from time to time.
Responsibilities- Assist with coordinating daily site operations and project schedules
- Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables
- Support procurement processes and material tracking
- Maintain accurate operational and project records
- Assist with permits, compliance documentation, and safety records
- Act as a central point of contact between office and site teams
- Follow up on outstanding tasks and ensure accountability
- Assist in resolving operational bottlenecks
- Generate weekly operational reports
- 5 years' experience in solar or construction industry or electrical industry essential
- Strong understanding of site operations and project coordination
- Experience working with contractors and suppliers
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance processes
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
