MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo deliver excellent critical care within the operational environment based on sound clinical judgment, current evidence, and to display clinical leadership with ER24.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS- Oversee and ensure operational readiness for emergency calls
- Administer patient care in line with scope of practice
- Market and maintain a positive public image for ER24
- Provide basic shift administration services
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Bachelors of Technology (Btech) Emergency Medical Care or Bachelor Emergency Medical Care
DESIRED EDUCATION: Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Newly qualified ECP / Operational EMS experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Previous EMS Operational experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Facilities, travel routes and demographical area
- HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice
- Application of best practice
- Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)
