A Pietermaritzburg based Digital Archiving companyis looking for a candidate to fill the role of Client, Office and IT Supportwith a heart for Africa and good work ethic. This personmust have a systematic and methodical approach to work, some familiarity with IT systems and be comfortable communicating in person and digitally. The candidate will:

Customer Support
  • Provide support to customers for our range of products and services
  • Oversee the ticketing system
IT Support
  • Provide support to the internal team for IT related matters, and to the IT team
  • Run continuous tests on our IT infrastructure
  • Track the implementation of IT projects
Office Support
  • Provide support to the Operations Manager across a range of administrative and operational activities
  • Perform receptionist functions, including answering the phone, managing diaries, arranging deliveries and collections
  • Perform office administrator functions
Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • A degree or diploma in IT, Project Management,Business Administration or related discipline

Systems:

  • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Familiar with Content Management Systems such as WordPress
  • Familiar with html, css. PHP advantageous along with sysadmin experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with project or task management systems advantageous

Technical Skills:

  • Writing
  • Budgeting
  • Diary Scheduling
  • Project Planning
  • Graphic and web design an advantage

Soft Skills:

  • Works well with team and under authority
