At Cordwalles Preparatory School, we strive to develop the character and potential of every young boy entrusted into our care, through our academic, sport, cultural and outreach offerings. We believe that a boy-friendly education creates a cornerstone for developing young men of character. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team, working closely with boys who require occupational therapy support to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a deep understanding of children's development and a compassionate, encouraging approach that aligns with our school's ethos. This role involves assessing and providing individualised therapy for boys with challenges relating to occupational therapy, collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure integrated support, and fostering confidence in each boy's ability to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will run their private practice, however, supporting boys from Cordwalles onsite.

Qualifications- Registration with the HPCSA
- Own MPS (Malpractice Insurance)
- Sensory Integration Qualification would be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience working with children who have Specific Learning Disabilities
- Knowledge and experience of Inclusive Education Practice
- Good planning, reporting and organisational skills
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- A team player who is willing to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team approach
- Computer literacy is imperative
