Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to create individualized treatment plans and facilitate the development of skills necessary for daily living and work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their individual needs and goals
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to provide integrated care
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to address patient progress and changes in status
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Stay current on advancements in occupational therapy practices and participate in continuing education opportunities
  • Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in delivering occupational therapy services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in State
  • Minimum of insert number years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Strong clinical skills in evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional impairments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in using common therapy equipment and techniques
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing occupational therapy practice
