Discipline: Occupational Hygiene Consultant

Our client is a highly successful asbestos consultancy offering a wide range of professional services on all asbestos and environmental disciplines. Due to continuing success they are actively looking to employ a conscientious and experienced Occupational Hygienist to work for them in the East London region. Applications from Romford, Ilford, Loughton, Dagenham and surrounding areas will be considered.

• Will hold BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications.
• Holding the qualification in general Health and Safety (eg - NEBOSH Certificate) would be beneficial.
• A good working knowledge of the relevant disciplines involved.
• Must be fully conversant with the Health and Safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.

• The work will involve undertaking a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments - air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing and indoor air quality.
• Liaising with the company's large client base.
• Managing the projects/contracts and clients effectively.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislations.
• Providing and delivering a professional service to new and existing clients.
