The NDT Examiner is responsible for delivering high quality NDT examination and qualification services, ensuring both customer satisfaction and candidate competence. The role includes developing, implementing, and continuously improving NDT examination processes, materials, and related resources in collaboration with management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain examination content, including compiling questions, coordinating external moderators, and serving on examination panels to ensure the quality and integrity of assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant national and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 17024, ISO 9712, and ISO/TR 25107.
  • Represent the organisation on relevant industry forums and bodies such as ICNDT, AFNDT, QCTO, and SETA.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery, produce statistical performance feedback, and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Manage organisational NDT inspection systems to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to applicable standards and customer requirements.
  • Oversee resources and maintain examination-related equipment, ensuring alignment with the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Foster positive engagement with students and customers to enhance service delivery and support the organisation's operational success and professional standing.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid Level 3 certification in at least four of the following NDT methods: X Ray Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Testing (MT), Visual Testing (VT), or Phased Array (PA).
  • Minimum of 10 years' industrial NDT experience.
