Deviseoperational strategies for Facilities and life-cycle strategies for portfolio assets
Provideongoing Operational Services and Building Services specialist advice and support to Centre management, staff and relevant stakeholders on:
- Decisionsrelating to Operational Services and Building Services matters
- Newtechnologies and trends in the market
- Smarterways of working
- Projectspecifications
- SLAmanagement and awarding of contracts in the adjudication process
- Capex,abnormal, day-to-day maintenance and operations budgets
- Scopingof Capex items
- 3-yearrolling maintenance plan
- HighRisk issues
- HRmatters; qualifications and skills for Operational Services and BuildingServices staff, succession planning, recruitment and selection,performance management, competency related training and job descriptionsand specifications
- Legislativerequirements
- Sustainabilityprojects
- Budgetingand Financial Review of Spend
- UtilityManagement
- Actas the custodian of Operational Services and Building Services policies,procedures and service level agreements and ensure that they are regularlyupdated.
- Aretrained
- Provideinput into the drafting of the standards
- Compliancewith the standards by undertaking regular Audits.
- Identify,vet and recommend Operational Services and Building Services vendors inconsultation with Centre management.
- Manageprojects initiated by core and act as oversight for projects run byCenters.
- Meetwith Centre management and staff on a regular basis and ensure that bestpractice information is shared across the portfolio.
- Representthe Operational Services and Building Services teams in respect ofdevelopments, refurbishments and extensions.
