Music Teacher

Our Subject Music Specialist will have passion, a real love for music and a genuine interest in promoting the formal learning of Subject Music in the High School and the teaching of Class Music throughout the school. Ability in choral work would be an added advantage.

The following are regarded as given:

• previous experience in teaching IEB Grades 10, 11 and 12 Subject Music;
• at least 5 years school teaching experience:
• strong leadership qualities with a penchant for working with people;
• relevant academic qualifications and experience in this field;
• commitment to complementary musical teaching eg: theory
• proficiency as a pianist;
• capable of teaching other instruments;
• being a keen team player;
• the ability to communicate effectively with parents and skilled at administrative tasks;
• strong verbal and written communication skills;
• a SACE certificate;
• in possession of a current police clearance certificate.
