Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum qualification: Matric / N3 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Trade Test Certificate: Motor Mechanic
  • Valid Master Technician qualification at dealer level
  • 3 years' post-qualification experience in an after-sales workshop environment
Essential
  • Operational experience with diagnostic equipment
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of commercial products
  • Ability to work independently to high safety and quality standards
  • Strong technical expertise with proven application, initiative, and flexibility
  • Willingness to work overtime at short notice when required
  • Valid driver's license (minimum old Code 08)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)

  • Servicing and repairing passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Perform electrical repairs across passenger and commercial models
  • Ensure road safety through high-quality workmanship
  • Keep up to date with technical developments via workshop bulletins and manuals
  • Adhere to workshop regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment
  • Training assigned apprentices
  • Assist in vehicle preparation for press launches
  • Fit required accessories to company models
  • Ensure all work carried out in-house or by suppliers meets required quality standards
