Momentum Insure Company Limited, in partnership with INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority), is offering a Short-Term Insurance Learnership opportunity for 2026. This structured programme is designed to provide unemployed South African youth with practical workplace experience while earning a nationally recognised qualification.

This is an excellent opportunity for young people who want to build a career in the financial services and insurance sector.

The programme will run from 26 March 2026 to 31 March 2027. During this period, learners will receive structured training combined with practical on-the-job experience in the short-term insurance industry.

Upon successful completion, participants will obtain a:

To qualify for the Momentum Short-Term Insurance Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be between 18 and 25 years old (turning 25 in 2025 included).
• Be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
• Have a Matric certificate (English with a minimum of 50% required; Mathematics is advantageous).
• If currently completing Matric, submit latest preliminary results.
• Be unemployed and have no previous work experience.
• Not be studying full time or registered for another learnership.
• Have good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in short term insurance.
• Have a clear criminal and credit record.

Selected learners will:
