Momentum Insure Company Limited, in partnership with INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority), is offering a Short-Term Insurance Learnership opportunity for 2026. This structured programme is designed to provide unemployed South African youth with practical workplace experience while earning a nationally recognised qualification.

About the Short-Term Insurance LearnershipThe programme will run from 26 March 2026 to 31 March 2027. During this period, learners will receive structured training combined with practical on-the-job experience in the short-term insurance industry.
Upon successful completion, participants will obtain a:

This learnership bridges the gap between education and employment, equipping candidates with relevant industry knowledge and hands on skills.
To qualify for the Momentum Short-Term Insurance Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18 and 25 years old (turning 25 in 2025 included).
- Be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
- Have a Matric certificate (English with a minimum of 50% required; Mathematics is advantageous).
- If currently completing Matric, submit latest preliminary results.
- Be unemployed and have no previous work experience.
- Not be studying full time or registered for another learnership.
- Have good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in short term insurance.
- Have a clear criminal and credit record.
