• Own the entire lifecycle of complex mobile features and components, specifically leveraging Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Design, build, and evolve core shared layers (logic, domain, networking) for use across both Android and iOS applications.
• Drive pragmatic decisions on shared vs. platform-specific implementation for optimal reuse, maintainability, performance, and UX.
• Set and enforce high standards for clean, maintainable, testable code and provide high-quality code reviews.
• Partner with leadership to strengthen engineering standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, code quality tooling, and the overall developer experience.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex production issues, implementing preventative measures and improving overall app reliability and performance.
• Enhance mobile release processes and automation to increase delivery speed, stability, and confidence.
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to define robust technical solutions.
• Clearly communicate progress, technical trade-offs, and risks, ensuring alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• 4+ years hands on experience in building and evolving complex, production mobile applications at scale.
• Strong experience in cross platform/shared code environments, specifically owning and delivering complex shared modules using KMP for both Android and iOS.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, modularisation, and maintainable software design with an ability to make sound technical trade offs.
• Strong familiarity with agile delivery, effective work within product led teams, and proven experience improving engineering standards, tooling, or ways of working.
• Strong experience integrating mobile apps with backend APIs, services, and third party platforms, including a strong grasp of RESTful APIs, networking, and performance optimisation.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, mobile release management, crash reporting, and a history of improving automated testing and observability tooling.
• Proven ability to work as a senior hands on contributor, influencing technical quality and delivery across cross functional product and engineering teams.
• Strong debugging, problem solving, communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain resilient and adaptable under pressure and ambiguity.
