Job Description

The Minerals Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and verifying mineral quality and quantity across mining, handling, and export processes to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspection of minerals during extraction, handling, and dispatch
  • Verify sampling procedures and ensure accuracy of results
  • Monitor mineral quality, quantity, and loss control processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
Education & Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Mining, Geology, Mechanical, or related technical field
Experience
  • 5-10 years in mining, mineral inspection, or quality control
  • Experience in African mining operations preferred
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of sampling and inspection techniques
  • Understanding of mineral processing and loss control methods
  • Familiarity with reporting systems and QA/QC standards
