A leader in the plastics game is on the hunt for a qualified Millwright to join their driven team in Germiston. If you've got the experience and thrive under pressure, this could be the next big move in your career story.

Here's what we're looking for:
  • Grade 12 and a Red Seal-qualified artisan
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
  • Solid track record with injection, compression, or blow moulding machinery
  • Cool head under pressure and a hands on approach
  • Sharp communicator and solid team player
  • Comfortable with CMMS, SAP, JDE, or Shopware systems (or quick to learn)
What you'll be doing:
  • Keep shifts running smoothly and efficiently, hitting all key production metrics
  • Handle both planned and preventative maintenance-electrical and mechanical
  • Respond swiftly to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and get machines back on track
  • Dig into the root causes and reduce downtime
  • Check products for quality and compliance before they move down the line
  • Make process changes as needed-quickly and confidently
  • Manage proper shift handovers so the next team hits the ground running
  • Open and close job cards accurately using Shopware
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Report any unsafe conditions or actions immediately
  • Follow all health and safety rules-no shortcuts
  • Apply company policies and procedures across the board
