Mill Wide Foreman Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Mill Wide Foreman - Shifts to coordinate safe and effective maintenance activities across the mill. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring long-term plant availability and reliability, contributing to improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Key Responsibilities

As a Mill Wide Foreman - Shift, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating breakdown and opportunity maintenance by prioritising resources in line with Mill priorities and procedures.
• Assessing equipment, material, and labour requirements to execute complex maintenance tasks efficiently and to Mill standards.
• Planning and executing shutdown activities to ensure safe, effective, and timely completion.
• Coordinating and managing external contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to required standards.
• Performing and supporting skilled maintenance work to resolve operational issues and complete projects effectively.
• Managing tools, equipment, vehicles, master data accuracy, and work order processes to support maintenance objectives.
• Leading people management activities, including performance management, skills development, attendance control, and participation in recruitment processes.
• Controlling maintenance-related costs within budget, preparing shift reports, communicating with stakeholders, and responding to customer feedback.
• Relevant Engineering qualification at NQF Level 5 or N4 Engineering Studies.
• Recognised Trade Certificate (Manpower/SETA accredited).
• Minimum of 5 years' post-trade test experience in plant operations within a heavy industrial environment.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Experience within the Pulp and Paper industry.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
