Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Meltham Moor Primary School.

We are looking for a friendly, flexible and caring person to join our school, organising and supervising play for our pupils on the school premises at lunchtime.
We would like you to:
- Be proactive at promoting positive play for a calm and purposeful playtime. Be positive, with high expectations for children and their behaviour.
- Have a passion for children's learning and be committed to the safeguarding of all our children.
- Be professional and hard working.
- Have good verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children and other staff members.
- Have a 'can do' mentality and be able to embrace change.
What the role involves in a nutshell:
- Organising games and activities to support pupils indoor & outdoor play.
- Interacting with pupils to ensure a calm and purposeful playtime.
- Setting up/clearing the dining hall.
- Supervising the pupils in the dining hall.
- Working alongside the kitchen staff.
