Job Description
ASI Financial Services (ASI), a group of authorised financial services providers, is seeking a Member Consultant - Health Care to join our Employee Benefits team. This role is critical in ensuring our members receive accurate advice, excellent service, and a clear understanding of their healthcare benefits.
Key ResponsibilitiesMember Advisory & Engagement
Demonstrate a strong understanding of employee benefits, including medical schemes, wellness programmes, and expatriation health benefits
Conduct detailed analyses of members' healthcare needs and provide appropriate advice
Record all advice on the CRM system and provide members with records of advice
Educate members on benefits, exclusions, and administrative processes
Advise exiting employees on available healthcare options and refer them to authorised financial planners where required
Training & On-Site Support
Conduct and arrange on-site member assistance sessions, inductions, and training
Facilitate year-end benefit revisions and medical scheme roadshows
Compile and distribute meeting notes following engagements
Administration & Query Management
Resolve member and employer queries, escalating complex matters to senior consultants when necessary
Maintain accurate records of communications, attendance registers, queries, and option change forms
Assist with billing discrepancies, claims updates, and compliance audits
Support HR teams with claims forms and healthcare-related requests
Promote additional products that enhance member benefits (e.g. Gap Cover, wellness products)
Qualifications & ExperienceFAIS Fit & Proper compliant (NQF Level 5, Regulatory Exams, Class of Business - Healthcare)
Minimum 3 years' experience in health care administration
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
Must reside in or near Westonaria
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
