What will you do?

The successful candidate will check that all advice documentation received from the intermediary is accurately completed and signed. The position is based in the Distribution Sales Support business at the regional office in Lynnwood, Pretoria.

  • Manage the process of receiving medical requirements and arranging medical appointments.
  • Administration support to Sales Support Assistants and Sanlam Intermediaries.
  • Co-ordinate payments for medical.
  • Provide ongoing feedback regarding appointments and medicals outstanding to Intermediaries and SSA.
  • Liaise with Liaison Underwriters where necessary.
  • Liaise with client to arrange medical appointment.
  • Liaise with medical Service providers to arrange appointment and emailing of medical requirement, incl NOW/DOW.
  • Progress Feedback to stakeholders.
  • Updating of systems with updates.
Qualification and Experience
  • Grade 12.
  • Minimum 12 months administration experience or experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of document management processes.
  • Knowledge of FAIS and FICA is preferred.
  • Computer Literacy and experience in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Sanlam office systems and processes.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Working knowledge and application of Jistel, Internet, On Demand, Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Programmes will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of the Financial Services environment.
  • General knowledge of the Distribution environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of remuneration administration processes.

Turnaround time
