• Take full responsibility for all design aspects for HVAC and mechanical building services, within the Built Environment, from conceptional to final hand over.
• Implementation of all relevant codes of practice and ensuring that all design aspects / project standards comply with Zutari's quality control procedures.
• Able to work on their own and take responsibility for the accuracy of work done.
• Eager to furthering their career and knowledge in design and new design developments.
• Utilise new digital offerings and new technology, and platforms as they become available
• Collaborate with engineers to develop detailed designs and documentation for municipal services and rural water supply projects.
• Create and maintain 3D & Revit models, drawings, and details.
• Ensure that the details developed are technically feasible.
• Produce accurate and complete construction documents that meet project requirements and standards.
• Review and check drafting work to ensure accuracy and completeness of project documentation.
• Communicate with project team members to ensure effective project coordination.
• Follow company standards and procedures for quality control, documentation, and project management.
• Keep up to date with industry standards and technology advancements in Revit software and add on packages.
• B.Tech/MTech, BSc/MSc, BEng/MEng
• Minimum of 6 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer within Building Services.
• Client focused.
• Professional Registration, Pr Tech or Pr Eng preferred or in process to register in 2026.
• Experience in designing and managing of medium to large HVAC projects.
• Able to utilise Revit, BIM360 AutoCAD
• Proficient in Heat load calculation software (HAP minimum, IES is bonus)
• Site experience on medium to large projects

• REVIT training will be advantageous.
• Have experience in using ACC/BIM360, HVAC duct and pipe sizing software
• Knowledge of mechanical building services design and construction principles.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
